Dineo Seshee Bopape makes molds inspired by African games
Dineo Seshee Bopape drew inspiration from the Morabaraba, Mancala and Diketo board games to create her installation for the #32bienal. They are strategy games that originate in different countries of the African continent and have similar variations to the game called Trilha [Track] in Brazil.
