Em’kal Eyongakpa crosses the Ebinsi River
To orchestrate the atmosphere of Rustle 2.0, an installation by Em'kal Eyongakpa for the #32bienal, the artist obtained sounds from forests, people singing and deforestation in regions of Africa. Below is a crossing over the Ebinsi river in Cameroon:
"One of the several crossings over the Ebinsi River. A motor bike that I used over the period of 5 weeks to access spaces in the Takamanda National Park. A boat with a hole, a motor bike and three people in it. The waters are safe enough to swim, but the high end audio visual equipment in two back packs was quite risky. Some basic challenges of recording in the deep green."
