Vivian Caccuri invited musicians and producers based in Accra, Ghana to create musical compositions only out of deep bass sounds, which are played regularly on the sound system installed by the artist as if it were a radio station. Guest DJs and MCs from Brazil perform live at the installation, improvising with beats, instruments, words and other sounds added to the basslines composed by the Ghanaian musicians. The performance will be broadcast live to Jamestown House in Accra.
Eddu Ferreira and Vivian Caccuri collaborated in the creation of sub-bass sounds to be played between basslines by TabomBass' Ghanaian musicians. The artists synthesize digital percussive instruments that are immediately perceived although they are much less audible in a regular music. In her second presentation, Vivian and her Homa project, invites Eddu Ferreira to create new sound layers over Ghana's bass.
