Mycologist Giuliana Furci (Fundación Fungi, Chile) and the artist of the 32^nd Bienal Pia Lindman guides the visitant in connecting with and interpreting trees in Ibirapuera Park: "From molecular biology we know that plants react on a cellular level to touch, sounds, spoken word, movement and light. We also know that trees communicate with each other across a wide network of interconnected roots and mycorrhiza. The network transfers nutrition, water, microbes and electromagnetic impulses, but what meaning do they make?"
