Denise Ferreira da Silva is Director of The Social Justice Institute - GRSJ at the University of British Columbia in Canada, Senior Faculty Fellow at St John’s College, University of British Columbia, a Lecturer at the Faculty of Art, Design, and Architecture, Monash University, and Guest Lecturer in Law at the School of Law, Birkbeck - University of London. She is also an Editor with the Living Commons Press.

A workshop proposing an investigation and collective elaboration upon Hailey Kaas’s Portuguese translation of the “Glossary” to Denise Ferreira da Silva’s Homo Modernus. The book’s key concepts will serve as a cartography and strategic reading guide.
Workshop Poetic Readings, with Denise Ferreira da Silva and Valentina Desideri.
Denise and Valentina use a mix of well-known or newly-devised practices such as tarot, political therapy, palm reading, false therapy, reiki, astrology and philosophy to conduct a reading of political issues. For the Oficina de Imaginação Política, they will first introduce the practices and then conduct a collective Poetic Reading concerning a question formulated during the workshop processes and activities.
