The Campo Sonoro [Soundfield] is a project for the 32^nd Bienal de São Paulo conceived as a platform of complementary sounds to the exhibition, and developed in collaboration with participating artists around their research and inspirations. Composed of more than 60 tracks (5h of audio), the project is accessible through the webapp (app.32bienal.org.br) and at camposonoro.32bienal.org.br

The content produced for Soundfield presents testimonials by artists on the works of other participating artists; music, chants, beats and sounds recorded by or extracted from artists’ research; poetry readings and recitations of original works by artists; conversations between artists and collaborators involved in the development of their works; and a research on Ibirapuera Park with conceptual references from INCERTEZA VIVA transformed into a proposal of drift from gate 3 to the exhibition’s main entrance.

Soundfield is a project that aims accessibility, with 98% of its contents transcribed in Portuguese and English, with accessible description. Each audio complements the visitor’s experience by raising issues and topics that are not discussed in the wall texts or explicit in the works. New recordings on the activation of works and performances during the exhibition period are planned to be uploaded onto the platform.
